County and City IT Liaisons to the State CIO
Recognizing the important interrelationships between the state, counties and cities, the State Chief Information Officer is pleased to have key representatives from California counties and cities serving on his IT Council.
Those representatives include the current presidents from the statewide IT organizations for both counties and cities: California County Information Services Directors Association (CCISDA) and Municipal Information Systems Association of California (MISAC).

More Information for the California County Information Services Directors Association (CCISDA):
CCISDA is the official organization of the county information technology directors and Chief Information Officers in the State of California. CCISDA represents 52 of the 58 California counties in the area of information technology and county government. Among other efforts, it promotes the sharing of new computer applications and products, staff development and training, consulting services to member counties and support organizations, and systems integration work between counties, the State of California and the federal government, for a variety of computer applications.

MISAC promotes understanding of use and impact of information systems within City Organizations as a whole; serves as an advisory body to the League of California Cities; strives for the continued acceptance and advancement of municipal information systems through professional accomplishment and high ethical standards; seeks the personal development and enrichment of its members through the promotion and conduct of conferences, seminars, and related training or communication methods; and promotes better municipal government through increased cooperation with other municipal officials.
