IT Awards
The IT Council Awards Committee administers the California IT Council annual "Recognition Awards for Outstanding Achievement in the Field of Information Technology"; examines the ongoing policies, processes and procedures associated with the California IT Program Awards, and reviews, and judges IT award nominations. The Awards Committee is also charged with soliciting nominations for the National Association of State CIO's (NASCIO) Meritorious Service Award and making selection recommendations to the ITC Executive Committee. Additionally, the committee chair provides general awards and recognition advice and guidance to the State CIO and serves on the NASCIO Awards Committee. - Congratulations to Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, Rosario Marin, Secretary, State and Consumer Services Agency, and Christy Quinlan, (then) Chief Information Officer for the Department of Health Care Services on being selected as one of the Top 25 Doers, Dreamers and Drivers by Government Technology magazine.
