Information Technology Awards


The Department of Technology's External Affairs Unit monitors the numerous national and statewide technology-related awards competitions and develops nominations for information communication technology projects. The External Affairs Unit solicits nominations from agencies and departments for the National Association of State Chief Information Officers (NASCIO) and assists other state agencies and departments with development of nominations for other awards programs. Many of these awards reoccur annually. The following are a few of the awards that California's efforts have received:

2012 Awards

Digital States Survey — California received an A- in the 2012 Digital States Survey — one of only 8 states to receive a grade of "A". — http://techblog.ca.gov/?p=2884
