Our mission is to provide high quality training resources and professional development programs that support all California information technology employees in their professional growth, upward mobility, and personal excellence.

Vision

We seek to design a state of the art training and education hub where California IT professionals can enhance their skills and knowledge, collaborate with peers, and prepare to become future leaders in technology.

Goal

We strive to ensure workforce excellence through top quality training and education to state and local government information technology (IT) staff through multiple delivery platforms such as live classroom instruction, online learning, leadership programs, and communities of practice.

The Training & Education Center offers a wide variety of mainframe, technical, business, financial, professional development, and PC application courses. Who Can Enroll

Supporting our mission of "Government Helping Government," the Training & Education Center accepts enrollments from employees of the following government organizations:

  • School Districts
  • Public Utilities and Special Districts

Room Rental Policy

The room rental policy includes detailed descriptions of our classroom and conference rooms and additional information regarding rates, equipment, accommodations and reservations.

The Fine Print

  • Class Times
    All classes begin at 8:15 a.m. and end between 4:00 and 4:30 p.m.
  • Parking
    Ample free parking is available at the Training & Education Center.
  • Break Room
    The Training & Education Center has a large break room with vending machines, microwave ovens and refrigerators available for your use. Coffee, tea and hot chocolate are also available for a fee. In addition, many restaurants are located within a short driving distance on Zinfandel Drive and Sunrise Blvd.
  • Attire
    When attending classes at the Training & Education Center, casual attire is suggested. Also, since temperatures within the classrooms may vary widely, we suggest dressing in layers to accommodate the temperature fluctuations.
