This page contains the State of California Enterprise Architecture (EA) Standards and recomended Practices. The intent of this page is to solicit comments on proposed Standards and Practices.
EA Status and Status Definition ¶
| Status | Definition |
| Proposed | A proposed EA Standard or Practice has been submitted to the Enterprise Architecture Committee (EAC) |
| EAC Review | The proposed EA Standard or Practice is being reviewed by the EAC |
| EAC Approved | The proposed EA Standard or Practice is approved by the EAC and is forwarded to the OCIO for vetting |
| OCIO Vetting | The OCIO vets the proposed EA Standard or Practice with the state’s IT leadership and IT professionals |
| Published | The EA Standard or Practice is approved. The EA Standard is noted as “Published” in Section 58D of the Statewide Information Management Manual (SIMM). The EA Practice is noted as "Published" in Section 158 of the SIMM. |
